4 ¼”h., Colorless, non lead glass, engraved with sun, moon, trowel, hammer, plumb, etc, foliate pattern very similar to engraved work at the New Bremen factory of John Frederick Amelung large trapped air bubble, thick applied foot, pontil scar; see McKearins American Glass, plate 41, no. 2, for near identical specimen found in Philadelphia, Pa., c. 1790, excellent condition, a wonderful example of an 18th century firing glass.
