"Quentin Durward, A Romance", by anonymous [Sir Walter Scott], Parker Edition, Revised and corrected, with a general preface, an introduction to each novel, and notes, historical and illustrative by The Author, 1839. Two Volumes in One. The Parker edition is considered the first ultimate American edition.

"Quentin Durward" is a historical novel by Walter Scott, first published in 1823. The story concerns a Scottish archer in the service of the French King Louis XI (1423-1483). This novel belongs to the series which forms part of Scott's multi-novel series known as the 'Waverley Novels' released from 1814 to 1832.
