Monumental pair of French ormolu-mounted White Sevres Porcelain vases and covers, by Collot, France, 19th century. Measures: 42"" high x 16"" wide. This massive pair of vases are the only ones of it's kind. The paintings, gold highlights, and bronze female-maidens, are of the finest quality. These vases also rotate 360 full turn. Both signed Collot. Flanked by maiden herm handles spilling baskets of flowers, painted with three putti among the clouds, within gilt scrollwork enclosing gilt panels, the neck and reverse with amatory or musical trophies, on a conforming socle and circular wreath cast base. Marked with the blue Sevres mark, and France. Excellent condition.
