After Alfred Dubucand (French, 1828 – 1894). "Hunting in the Sahara" - 20th century after the 1875 model, cast and patinated bronze, with spurious signature "PJ Mene" in mold to lower right of base. Large Orientalist sculpturedepicting an Arab on a galloping camel while two greyhounds race besides him. Approx. h. 44", w. 44", d. 17.5".
Condition
Casting imperfections mainly at tail with an area at the base of the rear of the figure pertruding.
