I purchased a stand up lamp and got it home and it doesn't work and they wouldn't make it right.
They really didn't care that the lamp didn't work.

As I stated in your complaint to LiveAuctioneers, the lamp (lot-0456) that you purchased in our April 22, 2026 auction has photos of it lit on the website prior to it being sold; therefore, it was working while it was in our building. I also stated that our terms of sale state that we do not guarantee condition of items. It is up to the buyer to check on the condition prior to purchasing the item. If you are not able to do so in person, you can call or send an email and we will be happy to help in any way possible. Thank you! Either way, we are not responsible for the condition of the items.

Very easy to do business with. Straight forward and honest people.
Tracy and I had written and talked a couple of times before our in person pick up. She was helpful when we got there, and spent time with us even though she was in the middle of a couple of things. are these days. As a nubie she explained things about auctions that I didn't quite understand, offered tips on improving strategies. Her staff offered unsolicited help, and helped show us some items scheduled for future auctions. It was worth the 5 hour drive to pick up instead of shipping just for the experience.

Don't use Live Auctioneer shipping dept.
This is my first time buying from Langston Auction Gallery. It was a pleasure doing business with Langston Auction Gallery. Always use in-house shipping whenever possible. Avoid using Live Auctioneer at all costs if possible. My items are still in the Live Auctioneers queue for processing. Very slow packing and shipping. They're expensive and take 3 times longer to get your items from them. I purchased my items back on August 30, 2025, and am still waiting.
