The sale was handled professionally and the items were as advertised. I have purchased many items over the last several years and always have been very satisfied.

This experience absolutely was not what I expected. The shipped my items for $18.10 actual cost and charged me $59.69 for that service. Descriptions on only 2 groups was accurate. The other two groups were so far off that had I known, I would not have bid at all.

Descriptions were very well representative of the items.

Dutch post office failed to send me a notification the first time. So, the package was returned to sender in US! After reclamation, the package was sent again for the second time. Arrived this week in good shape. These really are fabulous trains, very satisfied.

All online auctions seem to suffer from a lack of multiple views of the items I'm contemplating buying. They generally try to stuff to many items in the picture, so it's a wide shot and we see only one side. Also, would it hurt to add a sentence about the item? Some auction items (not from this particular auction house) have clearly been broken and it was never mentioned nor was the damage photographed.

My problem Is With Liveauctioners not updating American Antique Auctions site. It is not all their fault. None one double checked the shipping info. I hope to see my payed items soon.

I feel the shipping and handling prices for a very close distance were exorbitant.

Hello. The auction house was totally helpful... But, the package was lost and I never received the item. The auction house said they tried to locate the package. They didn't. I got a refund but wish I had received the item.

UPS Stores are very expensive to ship from. Auction houses can increase their revenues if the ship themselves. I worked for an auction house and we used to make money in the shipping department and shipped for 1/2 to 2/3 rds the price a UPS store charged, which allows the buyers to bid more, getting the consignor more money as well.
