I am still waiting to hear from the General Manager of IM Chait, to resolve an insurance claim from November 2017. I've sent all required documents and photos, left several messages and emails. Sadly, in spite of my loyal patronage of the auction house (having participated in many of their auctions), to the embarrassment of their team having taken my messages, he has not phoned or made any attempt to help resolve the issue-even if it were to simply offer to send recent lots won, at his expense. Disheartening and unfortunately, reflects on LiveAuctioneers brand. I've spent more than $10, 000 on LA. Disappointing all-in though it is nice to have this survey as a means to communicate the conflict.

Nothing but if they shipped by themselves, and I didn’t need to get in touch with UPS, I would be satisfied more.

Auction house was totally unresponsive when asked to recuperate funds from an affiliated auction house which never delivered. Big black point for service!!!

They sent invoice just once. I mailed a check. They emailed once a check arrived. Released immediately to shipper I chose. Very simple. I am pleased.

Description of artwork was inadequate and misleading. Auction owner insisted he complied with industry standard and that was all that was required of him. Difficult conversation.

The auction house staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable, they represent their items well. The only problem is they used to do their own shipping and I was always very pleased with their shipping department but I’m guessing the cost was prohibitive and now you have to use one of the shippers in the area but it is like pulling teeth just to get them to respond or to send your items so it makes it difficult to buy. This is sad because I M Chait Is an excellent auction house with great people.

They do not organise shipping. the list of shippers they propose are VERY expensive this double the cost of the lots. not fair!

The house was very helpful and courteous. The UPS shippers listed were not good at responding to inquiries-I wouldn't recommend them.

Auction house personnel were courteous and helpful. I would like to do business with this auction house again!

Good customer service resolved my issue, however their T & Cs on LiveAuctioneers still say that in-house shipping is available, but this service is actually no longer offered.

The Chait people are great! I wish they still had in-house shipping, but almost no one else does... they were particularly good at it. These guys are 5 star auctioneers! Josh

Answered all of my questions and sent me photos promptly. Overall excellent experience.

The auction with livestream is very pleasant. A big compliment to the auctioneer. It's a pleasure to follow the auction. I had some problems with their shipping department. After two weeks, they proposed for faster shipping an other shipping company (UPS Store). The proposed shipping company unfortunately had proplems with the responsible employee (no response to E-Mail for three weeks). After two months I even don't have the items. It's really frustrating. I. M. Chait sale department apologized. UPS Store apologized.

I think they should put more than just one picture of the items in their listings.

I. M Chaits is always very efficient and in the ball with my purchase. Staff are helpful and respond within 24hrs. One if the best Auction House, so far...

I specifically asked for photos that included the frame, but they were not provided. I bought the piece anyway. I love the painting. I will eventually change the matt and perhaps the frame. It was difficult to pay for the shipping online, but I just called and y'all were super helpful. I hope my comments are helpful. Thank you!!!

Their online payment process is not user friendly and difficult. The shipping charges were exorbitant and more than double what I would expect.

The auction house emailed me twice expecting swift payment, which I completed within two days of the auction, but I've emailed the shipping department twice over the past three weeks and have heard nothing about when my item is to be shipped. I expect reciprocally timely communication.
