Very Professional-Accurate condition reports

I was slow to get my item shipped (a few days over the time limit) In my defense I never received a call or e mail regarding my tardiness. It was sent to a third party to be shipped and cost a fortune!!! In their defense, they do warn you. But I am reluctant to do business with them again. Shipping costs in general are out of control with all houses.

Shipper was a waste, took almost two weeks to get the item, but they knew how to charge my account in a day.

The UPS store was excellent in regard to communication, packing, and shipping time!

Their shipping is overpriced, and completely inadequate.

The photos of the items had been enhanced, thus the colour was incorrect, In the photos the marble appears 'pink' when in fact it was brown/dark red. However, the description was accurate but they just didn't match the photos. Also, I chose a shipping company and made arrangements with them to ship from Sarasota (based on their price quote). Sarasota wouldn't release the item to the shipper I designated, and gave the items to a shipper of their choice, and then notified me after the fact. The reason I hadn't chosen the shipper Sarasota decided to use was because their shipping quote was almost $300 higher than the shipper I decided to go with. Sarasota's shipper wanted around $750 to ship; the company I chose wanted $504.44. The shipper Sarasota chose did an excellent job with the packing & shipping, and the tables arrived in perfect condition. My complaint was that Sarasota changed shippers on me without my consent or knowledge, released the items to them, and told me later. I do have to give Sarasota credit in as much as they guaranteed that their shipper would ship at the same rate as the shipper I had chosen, and that occurred, I only paid $504.44. I wish Sarasota had contacted me first before changing shippers. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the items I won at the Sarasota auction and with the way the items had been carefully packed and shipped.

These are a nice family of multigenerational dealers just like us. Honest hard working people we admire. Our CPA wants us writing checks for our inventory and not using plastic. That’s an issue. Our industry is being faced with new scrutiny with some auction houses scamming people internet bidding. Echoes are all 100 % kosher. We know them. Shortly their will be a policing of the practices of “ringing bidders up” & the games auction houses play will soon be held to account for. Abusing a clients trust is flawed greedy thinking. We don’t like it. It hurts our industry & if it continues there will be regulations put in place. I’d suggest you get this info to someone’s attention at Live Auctioneers. They are being looked at right now by the AG of NY. I am a retired investigator for a national news outlet and it’s coming.... very soon. Regards W. P. , III

Wonderful folks at the auction house. Have worked with them multiple times for both shipping coordination and picking up items. Either way I’ve had positive experiences and received amazing goods. I’m a highly satisfied buyer!
