Little slow in shipping

Given the percentage taken off the top by the auction house, the cost of packing and shipping is excessive. There is no reason for it to cost over twice what packing and shipping an equivalent set of items on ebay would cost. Additionally, the starting prices were set too high. After examining the items, I concluded that an ebay purchase of equivalent items would have cost roughly the same. There are no bargains when the starting bid is that high. This was my first auction with this company and I don't think I will bid with them again.

The book I bid on and won was represented as a first edition copy of the book. On receipt I determined it was not a first edition. I sent images of an actual first edition to the auction house and of the one I bought. They were clearly different. They never took the time to reply. The courtesy of a reply would have been the least expected.

I did not receive any help trying to get the statue that I was listed as winner (during and after the auction) live auctioneers ripped me off! Denis

True to picture. Reliable packaging and shipping.

Item was exactly as described and shipped and packaged very well. Checkout process was a bit confusing with a request for payment before the invoice was generated, then a payment with the invoice, and then a further payment for shipping for a total of three payments. Could be streamlined a bit. Other than that process was very good, shipping was quick and the item was well protected. Overall an excellent experience.

Great seller, products and shipping

I love what I purchased from this auction company, but the payment and shipping was a little clunky. Still, I would likely buy from them again.

The final notice and email showed that I won the item@ $100 and that the total bill would be $123 including fees and shipping. The notice indicated that the invoice was being prepared and that I should wait 3-4 days to receive it. I waited and waited. I contacted the auction house twice July 10 no response. My August 21 message received a response to me as "Winning Bidder" stating that the item did not sale and was passed but that message included the webpage clearly showing I won the item and shows an invoice # ********** paid in amount of $123. Sloppy, slow to respond, questionable integrity.

Badge was described as being early 1900s, however upon receipt quickly realized it was a modern reproduction which was confirmed. Contacted the auction house more then once and received no response or follow-up. Very disappointed with this auction house who represents itself as a premier seller of Western Americana. That is being the kindest this I can say about my experience with them.

The Ring is the complete wrong size, not even close to what was stated in the auction. No one care to offer a refund or make the purchase right for me. Ring was presented as "Men's size 11". It is actually a size 6 or 7. The item is useless to me and no offer to return for refund from this seller.

This company wants you to check out with your credit card information before you even know the final cost of the item and shipping costs. I have never experienced this before with any other auction house. Very backward check out process. I had to email them several times before I was able to get the exact costs that I was going to be charged. I think their shipping costs are excessive. The description of their items is very minimal.
