This is the first time I bid in a Jackson Intl auction and it couldn't have been easier. The items I received are just as pictured. Paying the invoice was quick and easy. The shipping was incredible! The items (3 X M1881 US Army dress helmets) were triple packed and arrived in outstanding shape. I look forward to bidding with Jackson International Auctioneers again.

Jackson's International Auctioneers is an excellent auction service. Their item descriptions and photographic representations are accurate and exactly what potential bidders, whether dealers or collectors need to make informed bidding decisions. Their after sale processes are smooth, and efficient as to handling invoicing & payments and their shipping process is highly efficient and expertly handled.

I have happily bid and won on a couple of items from Jackson's over the past few years without incident. I found the staff responsive and polite. While they remain responsive and polite, something notably shifted when they went to a shipping protocol that principally serves as a revenue center for them. Egregious shipping fees and notably much longer waits for the items as a result. Then my particular lot was a book with a particular provenance in which the auction house chose not to be forthright on its condition, using terms like 'good' in a general sense but not a book-specific sense. Books have defined qualities for resale and auction and Jackson's knows this, but the principal lot they chose to hide behind. While I did not take advantage of getting photos of the item up front, it would not have mattered if the auction house fairly and honestly depicted the true quality of the main piece. This slight-of-hand changed the dynamic and they additionally profited off that. Something went off the rails there recently and I for one am never going back and I highly recommend others look more closely at their practices before you return or if you are new to their auction house practices. Yes, I have had candid conversations with this auction house and they have been respectful. However, it is my right to caution with the phrase: Buyer beware 'Indeed.

I have shipped and had shipped many vases of this size and the "fees" they charged were about 300 % of what would be considered normal and customary. They are clearly over-reaching and profiteering, so I won't be back. Rather, there are other auctioneers that have integrity and run an honest business, so I'll stick with them.

I was able to arrange pick up of the item I purchased from Jackson's International. The large Weller Planter is in pristine condition. I showed it to my sister and she asked me to leave it to her in my will. I arranged pick up. The lady I dealt with was very friendly. I will watch for future auctions from this company.

In November 2024, I participated in my first on-line auction with Jackson’s International Auctioneers. The bidding process was detailed and very manageable. After the conclusion of the auction, I contacted Jackson’s office with specific questions regarding payment and shipping. The accounting representative explained all the process in detail, clearly and with great patience. As I was told, the process was without any issue, the packaging was exceptionally secure and shipping was immediate, arriving much quicker than anticipated, in perfect condition.

I wish every auction house shipped as professionally and packed as well as Jackson's. My andirons were impeccably packaged and shipped to me without incident. So many times, (more than I can count) the package was not well shipped and it got to me damaged, which required months of reconciliation with the auction house and shipment company. This is my 2nd purchase with this fine house and it will continue. One item, a Zenith radio, I actually drove to pick up instead of having it shipped bc of that concern and the folks at the auction house then could not be more accommodating and nice. I also was in an auto accident and the staff there were accommodating on my purchase and delivery. Thank you.

Shipping is excessive for a small package that I received. $100 to ship across the country is excessive even though it included careful packing nothing special.
