The wire-transfer payment from the USA is needlessly slow and expensive. I had to pay separate fees at my own bank and two banks in Germany, and the process took two weeks. If you allowed payment by Paypal, with the client responsible for the Paypal fee, you would have the money in a day and, for prices under about EUR 2000, the cost to the client would be less.

shipment took very long to arrive also DHL did not bring the item to my address they just handed the watch to the Post office, Thumbs Down. I tried many times sending emails and messages through live auctioneers page and believe it or not. I got no respond Very Bad communication with the customers. I won't Deal no more with them.

When I questioned the invoice amount due and explained that I had bid a lower figure, the auction house promptly adjusted the total. Moreover, it also adjusted the shipping price after one lot was removed.

The rug department is excellent and is sure doing a great job. Great to deal with them, really.

Shipped the wrong item, shipped to the wrong address, twice sold an item I won on LA to another buyer.

Yes. The people working in this auction house are its most valuable asset. Yashar from the carpet section is one of the most reliable and helpful people I know. Such people make Henry's the very best auction house for me. One other thing is that I wish we could pay via Paypal if possible.

I’ve done a lot of business with Henry’s and they’ve been pros navigating international sales. I always get great service and excellent merchandise.

Once they sent the wrong rug. Another time they/LiveAuctioneers said I won and then Henry's sold the rug to another bidder. These bad experiences have not happened to me with any other auction house.

Still have not received my auction winnings from 11/23/2017 that I paid for via wire transfer of cash of $4497.58. I have been given false tracking numbers and then told it was shipped when it wasn't and told "I'm sorry the shipping dept should not have told you that we are still waiting on customs". I now have an actual traceable number, but still no items. Never does it take this long to receive items from other auction houses in the EU and the UK.

Excellent product and service!

They don't publish detail images unless you ask them which is cumbersome.

It's too bad they don't accept payment via PayPal, credit card or any way other than transfers to their (very obscure!) bank in Germany. Also they seem to take a perverse pleasure in listing only a single photo of each lot, and sometimes with sloppy cropping. But their stuff is the best and the customer service compensates.

Plan to pursue items at future auctions. Very happy with performance so far.
