This auction house has badly described the lot I purchased I realized it was probably intentionally I will never buy from this auction again and will recommend it to no one

They quoted me a $40 shipping fee for an item for which the winning bid was $50. It is a small item (a calendar) and the shipping cost should have been negligible. I can only assume they use shipping as a profit center. After I complained, they agreed to adjust the shipping down to $30 which is still an overcharge. Even though I sent payment within a few days after receiving the revised invoice, they initiated a dispute before I even had a chance to pay the revise invoice. They continued to send me multiple invoices after I had sent them payment (for example, on EACH OF July 27, 28 and August 1). I complained about that and they eventually acknowledged my payment. Yet today, days after they acknowledged that I had paid and after I had complained about the continual invoices, they emailed me ANOTHER invoice. I will never bid on one of their auctions again and may stop using live auctioneers entirely. I participate in many auctions and have never had such a poor experience.

I wish that they accepted PayPal. I use PayPal 90 % of the time. It allows me to pay immediately and to purchase more. Please look into your payment system. The process was confusing in the beginning.

Satisfactory experience. I'll consider future purchases from them. One of the pieces was very poorly framed, a condition not reveal, and probably not known, to the auction house. In the future, I will be a more cautious buyer.

I have dealt with numerous Auction houses over many years and all with good experiences but I will never deal with Christina Auction House again

I never actually received notification from the auction house that I was the successful bidder. The only reason I figured this out was because I had a new item in my shopping cart from the main LiveAuctioneers site. I sent them 2 e-mails with no response asking for an invoice. I then tracked down a phone number and had to call several times before reaching anyone. This was 8 days after the auction. They sent me an invoice while I had them on the phone, meaning that they had all of my correct contact info. Then, there were no options given for shipping and I was automatically charged $45 by them for an item that weighs perhaps 5 ounces, that they likely paid the USPS flat rate of $10 for. This is the 2nd time this has happened with them. I will not be participating in any future auctions with them. I feel ripped off and their customer service is horrible. They are a black eye in the face of LiveAuctioneers. I would appreciate feedback from you on this matter.-Kelly

Shipping of 1 small bag 30 miles to NYC was 40.00. No choice in house. TOTAL SCAM RIPOFF ON SHIPPING. DISGUSTING. NEVER TOLD WHAT SHIPPING WOULD BE. DEMANDED 40.00 FOR A BAG THAT WEIGHED 2LBS MAX. IT WAS ABSURD

I don't like it when I bid, it's accepted and then where do I stand? Must I follow and participate or get beat by a $10 bid? Shipping is confusing and a major hassle with houses that refuse to ship on their own. Feels like getting charged twice. Plus, the shipper (say, UPS) is majorly and unexpectedly expensive. Example, I bought an 18th century bed warmer for $50. By the time it reached me it cost over $200. Very unappealing...

They sold nothing to me. Every item I bid on was "passed." If they are going to have a reserve price, they should start the auction at that price....

I was told I could pick up my purchase as long as I told them what day I would be there.. Then when I called them back to tell them I would be up on Tuesday.. I was told I can't do that since the only day for pick up is Friday... I really didn't want to spend that much money for shipping when I live less then and hour away... That I am very un-happy about..

I have dealt with all the "Big" houses, and hundreds of small ones. This one is in the top tier if not number one. They continue to surprise me in what they offer for sale, the smiles I can feel through the telephone lines, and just good home friendliness and wanting to assist and wanting your business. Have not received my 'Cartier Cuff links The problem is-I asked for postage quote: UK & Vancouver I got a reply after my payment-Their for a difference of $9 I would have preferred UK Delivery Basically-very important you address the problem at hand before dispatch! Yourselves-Basically posted before addressing myself To-Date: I do not know where my mentioned delivery is posted?? you have some very nice items but your autographs should be checked and come with a loa or coa from a reliable source....... jsa or psa would fetch you higher prices on most of your items, people would feel safer with the purchase. i bought a game worn miam heat jacket that was said to be worn by d wade. the jacket is a triple x and has a hand printed 6 on lable. my guess is it might be a lebron james instead. he wears 3x and was number 6, wades number is 3 and i dont think he wears a triple x. i will find out soon and let you know.

extremely expensive shipping fees, and took over two weeks after payment with credit card, will never buy from them again, my item costs $825 and the shipping was $445, wow, thanks

Item was very small yet the photos and description could have done more to make this clear. In house shipping of $25 was exorbitant... for something that arrived in the smallest fixed rate USPS box... the flat rate fee for which is around $5.
