items had more wear then I expected. They charged double what I think would have been reasonable for shipping. I tried to pick it up but found out you have to make an appointment when I arrived.

The Erte and the Love were beautiful; the Johns and the Braque were not worth the paper they were printed on. JWAM

I have not received my item as yet. However, I was very dissatisfied with the shipping offered. The amount of shipping exceeded the amount I paid for the item and there was no indication before bidding that this might be a possibility. Had I known, I certainly would not have bid on the item. I buy via overseas auction sites quite often and this is the first instance I have come across where a poster cost almost the same shipping as I would normally pay for a number of bulky items. It just doesn't make sense and raises questions for me re the process so for this reason I do not think I would use Christiana.

I thought for a small purse $65.00 shipping was high. I thought the percentage for the auction house o. k and price.

The item was disclosed as a dress, it was lingerie. I was charged $40 to ship 2 small items. When I questioned they said it was for shipping supplies. The items came in a free postal box not wrapped in plastic shipped together. I will never shop with them again. I emailed my frustration and no one seemed to care.

Bought a vintage blouse... had a not insignificant stain... told me I should have requested. a condition report... offered to take it back but I kept it... significant flaws should be mentioned in the listing by the seller... not minor issues... that is a different matter

I took the survey before. I recently sent back a print with a questionable signature, much to my surprise they assured a full refund without hesitation. thank you. your awareness of their business practices has made it better for all.

The description was incomplete and I did not pursue. Shipping charge was too much for small items.

I have recently returned a print that was listed as "signed in pencil" when clearly by looking at the piece the signature was printed/I am waiting for my money to be returned. I am waiting on delivery on three other items from another later auction. I am now worried.

Item was described as an Roy Lichtenstein's offset lithograph printed by Lautrec Photo Litho Ltd. Leeds, and published by The Tate Gallery London. Tate gallery published a limited edition of this print on vowe paper. Images on Christiana's website showed slight yellowing which would be consistent with age. They described the overall condition as "good". What I've received appears to be a brand new high resolution inkjet print from a scanned original, printed on heavy stock inkjet paper. As such it is worth 10-15 $at Kinko's or less if you own a printer. It is certainly far less than my winning bid of 500 , plus the buyer's premium of 100 , plus 60 $shipping. Their estimated value was 1000-2000 . I immediately sent them an email and asked to have my credit card refunded. I'll offered to pay the cost of shipping. They haven't responded. I will be contacting liveauctioneers to file a complaint and my bank to see what can be done to get my money back.

I thought the shipping charge was too high. The item was simply wrapped in two pieces of cardboard, for which I was charged $35.00. Too much.

The print was damaged in shipping. It should've been sent in a tube instead of an envelope.

Christiana was lovely. I'd just put in bids with Sarasota Estate Auction, though, which I imagine you won't be asking about BUT they are yet another auction house which in all appearances cheats the customer: When a lot is sold for my bid [ with liveauctioneers ] to someone else, the customer can't but feel shortchanged. Many houses do this; is this something which you concern yourself with? Thanks,

It was a clean experience, the staff was courteous and the shipping prompt. From one auction house to another... we are pleased with their process and happy to be represented on the same platform.
