Shipping price was very high

Shipping should not have taken a month. When you pay a lot for shipping there should be a signature requirement.

I'v been buying from nye for years and have never had a bad experience.

I've had just one other experience with an auction house as pleasing as this one. Most particularly I appreciated the honesty and thoroughness in the extra photographs I had requested.

I spoke to two of the employees... one in the office and the other in shipping. They were both very helpful and courteous. A pleasant experience/transaction overall.

My interest is mainly musical boxes. I could not hear the box singing on your site. If I could hear the sound, for example via youtube, it would be so much helpful. I bought a musical box last year without hearing it, the result after expensive restoration was severly unsatisfied.

Shipping fees to pricey

Close out auction/shipping before you take 10 day vacation. If you can't satisfy purchases in reasonable time then don't schedule auction so close to holidays

I bought an item at the August 19 sale, and am STILL waiting for shipping more than 3 weeks later! I've called three times, and have been told each time that the shipping staff will get back to me in due course. Earlier this week, I was told it would be next week. This is completely at variance with the guarantee on the invoice to arrange cost-effective shipping within 1-2 weeks. My first experience with Nye has been very unsatisfactory.

This was an awesome purchasing experience. Everyone from the receptionist who answered the phone to the shipping coordinator were professional, helpful, and friendly. I have already recommended Live Auctioneers and Nye & Company to a client and will continue to spread the good word.
