While the price reflected the value-I would have liked the auction house to have taken the time to include in the description the fact that the print was actually stamped-Faksimale Reproduktion (Berlin)... if you removed the back cardboard from the frame (which could have been done without any damage to art since it was able to be put back without any change to the framing.

It would be helpful for the auction houses to pack and ship small unbreakable items to reduce the cost.

I won 2 lots. The auction house gave 1 of my lots to a floor bidder. I was notified by Liveauctioneers that I won the lot and the high bid I left was almost double the price that the lot was hammered down for, yet the item was given to the floor. No other auction house I have done business conducted themselves this way.

gave my item to the shipper with no contact # for me-I had to make numerous phone calls to get my item shipped to me they are very unprofessional-did not return my emails!!-got my payment and gave me no service in return..

The measurements of the piece were not included at the online auction site.

Overall I could not be more pleased. Since it was a liveauctioneers bid from a fair distance away (TN to Philadelphia) i relied on a third party to pick up the item, and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating during our phone conversations to arrange the details. I could also mention that, although the pictures were professionally done, this is one of the few times when i can say the items i bought look even better in person, so it made the value for my dollar even better

When you ask for a response from an auction house maybe you should mention what was purchased. When I've bought several art pieces from auction houses I forget what piece I bought from the Bunch auction. Richard

Item description indicated that all 29 pieces were fourth period marked (1946-55). In fact, 8 of the 29 items were fifth period marked (1956-65). This information should have been disclosed or the listing should have said most of the items have the fourth period green mark so absentee bidders could inquire further if this was an issue. Generally, with Belleek, each subsequent period reflects a lesser quality product.

I had to make multiple requests to be authorized to bid which added unnecessary anxiety to the process. Their process also asked for payment details, then failed to use them to execute payment which added time to the ultimate delivery timeline. I was asked to call back and give them the same payment details they requested on their forms and was told they don't use the forms and shred the information. While I appreciate my information was being safe guarded, it was illogical to ask for it, not use it and ask me to call in again to give the detail over the phone. The shipping person had to make two visits to the auction house as a result of this redundant step.

Auction house was fine. The shipping charge by an outside provider is nearly prohibitive and will be a big factor if I bid in any other auctions. We have sold and shipped on ebay for many years. These people are scalping bidders and will ruin the online bidding activity for less expensive items.
