The item description was detailed and accurate. All information was included and updates were communicated. Pictures were high quality.

Bought a. 23 rifle. It looked beautiful. Someone had done a good job rehabbing the item. BUW 'forgot' to tell me that it doesn't work. The bolt falls out and it won't ********** to fire. Kind of a big deal and pretty easy to notice. No no don't worry I'll pay to get it fixed.

I understand how auctions work and what “as-is, where-is” means. This issue wasn’t general wear or expectations for a 100 + year old firearm. Before bidding, I asked a direct question about the bore condition and was told it was “great.” After receiving the rifle, cleaning it, and having it inspected by a gunsmith, the bore was found to be in very poor condition, with heavy wear and pitting, and not even close to what was represented — even accounting for the rifle’s age. When I raised the issue, the auction house relied on boilerplate as-is language and stated they don’t normally describe bore condition, despite having done so in this case. The only remedy offered was to resell the item through them. This isn’t about money. It’s about accuracy and standing behind specific representations made to bidders. Based on my experience, buyers should be cautious about relying on direct answers provided outside the listing.

Cost $15 for my items and $56 to ship the items to me? Something is wrong with that?

I overpaid for what I got. I missed that the british bull dog revolver cylinder pin and ejector was replaced with a non stock item. Sure, it’s an auction and part of it is to get clients excited and bid high but I feel accurate description is vital. Some research shows the part is unavailable, one guy on the web looking 2 decades for it. In the light of being forced to buy another one to make it complete, BUW not giving me enough info about the piece in writing or pics, I overpaid for what they provided. I sent a note about the issue that was unanswered. They do 15 % but not worth it for junk. Maybe I’m finally done with liveA abusive fees, bad descriptions for items, expensive shipping etc it’s just not fun anymore.

The item I won at auction was sent safely and without fuss or feathers. I would happily give this auction house repeat business.

Nice older gun. This will be a tractor gun so was not looking for collector value. Gun was in good shape. Had to tear it down and replace a spring but for the price no one is complaining. Great sale and great seller.
