I received 3 pearl necklaces. 2 were broken. They told me to contact the shipper. I refused because the necklaces were packed extremely well and it was obviously not the shippers fault. In the same shipment I received 2 porcelain vases and both arrived in perfect condition and packed well. I relayed this information to Butterscotch auction and they never responded. The total cost was less than $100.00 and I'll just chalk it up to never dealing with Butterscotch again. Buy at your own risk

Butterscotch Auction is EXCEPTIONAL! Their photos for each lot showed many different views of each item & the descriptions are spot on. Bidding on their lots flowed at a good rate with plenty of time to bid. My invoice arrived within one day & there were plenty of payment choices. They also provide a good list of shippers. I chose UPS Store # 0706 in Stamford, CT & they provided excellent service at a very competitive price. I highly recommend Butterscotch Auction as well as Stamford UPS Store # 0706.

Cameo glass vase was accurately described with great pictures. Paying was very easy. Contact with the Auction House was easy and they were very friendly and extremely helpful. Shipping item with a third party worked out great. The vase was awesome quality when it arrived.

Because of the above, it takes forever for you to send them a check and wait for their deposit. After that then you start the shipment processs. Nice enough people but antiquated and one sided payment process. I will not buy from them again.

Great experience

I have purchased from many auction houses and this is the first one to lie in their descriptions and also in follow up emails. I purchased a doll that was described as being marked on the shoulder plate. What they neglected to say in the description was that the shoulder plate was broken into 6 pieces and had been taped years ago with old first aid tape. The damage makes the dolls value plummet which is undoubtedly why it was not mentioned. In the email conversation they at first said they didn't remember any damage and then tried to say the damage was done in shipping. When I finally sent a photo showing the obviously old damage I never heard from them again. I strongly do NOR recommend this auction house and will never do business with them again.
