Just say no to 3rd party shippers
Highway robbery I'm out 40 dollars for the glass jar that UPS WAS TRYING TO CHARGE ME 60 Some odd dollars to ship. negative on that play. Ugh i never would have bid had i known there was no in house shipping

We use 3rd party shipper to ensure items reach the bidder without damage-as we're dealing with antiques and collectibles which cannot be replaced. Also CLEARLY in our POLICIES it states: Buyer Pays Shipping Cost, We will help facilitate shipping. If the item is fragile, items will be taken to the UPS Store for shipping. Perhaps you should read the policies BEFORE bidding. As that is the point of having them-so we don't have to deal with unhappy customers who don't read or understand how shipping is going to work. You're giving us a 1 star rating for your lack of understanding or reading our policies-if only we could give bidders a rating-yours would be 1 star.

Good Auction House
Items were well displayed, they will ship smaller items which is a plus for a small handling fee. They were very responsive in both calling them and by email. I would participate in future auctions by Adkins.

Very unpleasant unreasonable customer service.
Tried to charge 6 x value of goods shipping. Dropped it off at shipper and washed their hands of it. Were nasty in their responses back rather than offering reasonable and affordable options to receive items. Eventually ended up with a refund. Will never deal with them as an auction house again.

We did not charge you anything for shipping. As our policy stated-fragile items are taken to UPS for shipping due to breakage we've encountered shipping via USPS. Unfortunately, you bid on fragile items and wanted them shipped across the United States, without factoring in the cost of such. There is a reason auction houses post their shipping policies prior to auctions so bidders can be informed. It seems not everyone reads those....

I have never had a problem with anything I purchased from Auctions by Adkins LLC.
I have been to many auctions by "Auctions by Adkins", both online and in person. Art always tries to be up front with the items he is auctioning off, more so for the people there in person only because he goes into detail about what he knows-or doesn't know-about the item as far as condition, damage, any history, and whether or not he has had a chance to test an item such as a power tool to verify the working condition. Whenever I can, I go in person, but I know how he does business so if I can only bid online I am still confident that I will not regret a purchase from him.

Love the items
Although it wasn't easy getting to their payment platform as it didn't come up on liveautioneer, liveautioneer did send me a link. But the items were exactly as described, shipping was done with great, great care. Future bidding at least I will know better the payment process with this auction house.

Took eight weeks from the time I paid until I received the last item.. Had to ask them to ship.
Will not use these folks again! Worst service I have ever had on Liveauctioneers.

There are some customers who don't pay for shipping right away and don't understand why it then takes longer to get items. Thankful we're able to block bidders from future auctions.

Professional and Responsible Auctioneer
I but A LOT of items on Live Auctioneers and look for Auctioneers I can trust when transactions have issues. This is an Auctioneer I bought from, for the first time, and they were stand up professionals and I will place them on my list of trustworthy Auctioneers.
