Dont waste your time they will send the item when they are ready to this on of the worst auction house I have had to deal with I will never come back and soon as I get my item I'm installing this place because they care as much as the auction house

Awesome again
Woody auction always performs excellent, you get correct as described items and they are the ONLY auction house on liveauctioneers that doesn't rip you off on more than excessive shipping cost. Another great purchase from Woody.

Woody’s is a great organization to work with
Woody’s is a great organization to work with. They try to resolve issues promptly and fairly. Haiti’s pricey and needs to be considered when bidding, but I have never received a damaged item, and that is worth the shipping charges.

Sometimes bidders receive an excellent "deal" on prices in an auction, but shipping costs remain the same and may seem high compared to your winning bids. We do our best to keep shipping costs as low as possible while wrapping everything securely to arrive at your home in excellent condition. Woody Auction has secured better prices with UPS, and as always, we will continue to pass those discounts on to you. Likewise, we have sourced less expensive packaging supplies. As a result, our prices have gone down significantly. We have been told our shipping prices are sometimes one-third the total that other auction houses charge-because we do our own packing and shipping. We strive to set the industry standard in our packing. We will continue fighting rising shipping costs and re-figure shipping costs each quarter to see if we can save bidders money!

Any one who is a Dealer or a Retailer can purchase w/confidence and know that all items are as stated and of the highest quality, any flaws or nicks are made available to the buyers very Honast Auction House. Woodys does all there own in house shipping and they are the best, you could drop your purchase from a plane and it would arrive perfect undamaged, they are the best team as packers for Woody Auction House

Best on the net
My experience with Woody Auctions is far superior than any on the net right now. They are totally professional and treat buyers with respect. I really appreciate their shipping department. They do a superior job. I feel they have this whole process done right. Nothing annoys me more than having to bother with some shipping place and wait forever for my items.

Nice to deal with a knowledgeable dealer.
Jason Woody and his family have been selling brilliant period cut glass for 50 + years. They know their business and you can trust them. His pre auction critiques I find very helpful. Since I don't get to see the actual piece, only pictures, I rely on his judgement a lot. If he says a piece has a clear blank and is nicely cut, it will be. Perhaps more importantly, he will call out a piece that doesn't look quite right... or remove it from the auction altogether. There are unfortunately pieces of questionable origin out there. Nice to have an expert look it over before it goes up for sale. Thomas

Condition of the items
This was the first time I had done business with Woody auction. What I liked about them they had the condition of the items listed in their description so buyers didn’t have to email and ask for condition report. I am extremely pleases with the pieces I received. They are all flawless and in excellent condition as noted in their report. I will buy from this auction house again. Ray

Too quick to close the bidding
I have been attending Woody's auctions since 2001. There are highly regarded and very honest in representing the items for sale. On line bidding was frustrating, because they would only say "going once." Then without saying going twice, going three times, they would close the bidding. Twice I submitted a bid and while the bid was being transmitted the bidding would be closed. I would like to see the auction house give more time for additional bids to come in from on-line bidders.

We apologize for our delay in responding to your review – we were just informed today that LiveAuctioneers has a review site! We did want to take a moment to respond to your concerns about online bidding. If you are participating in an online only auction, each lot will be open for 15 seconds; if no bids are placed, a fair warning message is called, and another 7 seconds is allowed before the lot closes and the next one opens. Any time a bid is placed, the 7 seconds resets and another fair warning message is sent, allowing more time for bidding to occur. Due to Internet connectivity issues and lag times, it may go faster than this. Online only auctions account for approximately 25 % of our auctions. If you are participating in one of our regular auctions, there are also people in our auction hall bidding on the same items. Bidding can happen quickly. We sell approximately 85 lots per hour, so it is a fast pace. People in the audience appreciate it because it isn't boring. For Internet bidders, we recommend placing absentee bids in advance of the auction to hedge against potential Internet connectivity issues and lag times during the live event. Excellent merchandise.
Speedy delivery. Packed extremely well (double boxed) & everything arrived safely. I am very pleased with the internet bidding & my purchases, which were well represented by the photos & description. I did think the shipping was very high, but then I had a few items shipped at once. Not my first auction with the Woody establishment.

However, weight, size of box, and distance traveled all go into the shipping costs. We charge nominal amounts for the materials and wish that shipping weren't a factor in online bidding! If the shipping amount ever sounds out of line, please call us and we will make every attempt possible to bring those costs down for you.
