Item was accurately described. They do not offer in-house shipping but they arranged shipping with UPS which went smoothly. Item was well packaged and received quickly. Auction house was responsive to my question about shipping.

I thought the $50 to ship 2 small basket purses was way too high.

This auction house was easy to communicate with and helped by directing me to a good value local shipper.

The listing indicated that 2 antique glass pitchers were in good condition. Shipping was impeccable. There was no trauma to the box whatsoever and the contents were very securely packed. After unwrapping the extensive packing materials, I discoved both pitchers were cracked. There was no way it could have happened while in transit given the aforementioned packing and flawless condition of the box. Glass items that are damaged in transit are almost always shattered and broken, not resulting in cracks. Cracks around handles just don't occur in shipping from my many years of experience of purchasing/shipping glass. I tried to verify the cracks existed from the listing pictures. However, the pictures in the listing were from angles that did not allow for visual sight of the cracks. The listing only indicated that they were "good condition" of which I seriously question. I don't know if the auction house does not have experience in dealing with antique glass, which is why I am uncertain on how I feel about this company. However, if it has dealt with antique glass previously, then my situation should never have occurred. Company policies basically say no responsibility for my situation. I'm not at all pleased because in total the price I paid is HIGHLY more than anyone would ever pay for seriously flawed antique glass. At the present, I cannot recommend this auction house for anyone interested in any glass items.

I continue to be pleased with my Broken Arch Gallery finds! I was unable to make the trip to Weaverville for the pre auction viewing, so I called for a more descriptive condition report. The item was perfectly described and I bid accordingly. I won the item and when I arrived to pick it up, I was blown away with the condition of the curio cabinet. The item was of tremendous quality and was not overstated in my inquiry phone call at all! The other treasures I have won/purchased from Broken Arch Gallery will look stunning in my “new” cabinet. Truly, I couldn’t be happier. All parts of the auction process are handled seamlessly and professionally by the entire team at Broken Arch Gallery. I have not yet been disappointed by any experience with them. I am a repeat buyer of more than 2 years and have successfully won: furniture, lamps, coins, sterling silver, silver plate, China, crystal, and Asian treasures. Try them out, they are honest, and they have fantastic quality items!

$60 shipping and handling a 1-lb non-fragile item. Tried to get an explanation of shipping charges and some sort of correction but after 3 weeks of them not returning calls I paid up and am taking it as a lesson learned.

The item was exactly as described and depicted. It was promptly invoiced and released for packing and shipping.

I purchased several lots of sterling silver from this dealer, and needed them shipped to my location. My lots arrived sooner than expected in excellent condition. They use an outside shipper, but work closely with them, so shipping was easy. I highly recommend this house.

I picked up my items from Broken Arch and they had put tape on the golf leaf frames of the oil paintings. I tried removing it as carefully as possible, but the gold came off two of the frames. It seems that a company that cares for fine collectibles and antiques would not put tape on gold-leaf frames. I also picked up 82 pieces of Woodland china. Even when I counted the lids as separate items, I was missing two pieces. The auction house never located the pieces. They said that they would look and never contacted me back. When I asked again, they said that they couldn't find them.

will go out of their way to make things right very considerate of their customers had been my experience. there was shipping issues which were of no fault of theirs it was the 3rd party crook shipping companies i have an issue with but Broken arches went out of their way to make things right enquiring i wouldn't get screwed over by the shipping company above n being the call of duty many thanks
