I am a new customer to Schmidt's Antiques. I am very pleased with the auction lot I purchased that contained three pieces. Each was accurately graded. Office staff helpful providing the name of a recommended shipper. I want to give Manny at Pack N Ship a standing ovation for the outstanding job he did to be sure that these fragile pieces, all in outstanding condition, would arrive safely. Manny is friendly, helpful, and listens to special requests to be sure your parcel arrives on time with the pieces in original condition as described. Pack N Ship's fees were very fair. Auction house transferred to piece to a shipper without a release from the buyer. This has never happened to me before, usually they are very careful about this. I made a wasted trip to Michigan to pick it up only to discover that it was already gone. (Edited: After posting this review the auction contacted me, apologized, and reimbursed my shipping expenses for their error. It was handled very professionally.)
