Very good communication, very good service

Very smooth transaction!

They need to work on their payment system. No credit cards and they want to hold your check for ten full days. After a lot of unpleasant conversation they agreed to a credit card even though I had over nighted a check. As an auction site I think invaluable or live auctioneer should have some way of rating their clients for the auction houses. Schmidt needs to move into the 21 st century of doing business.

These people are very conscientious, there was a small potential problem with the shipping of the item I purchased and they resolved it immediately and in person.

For me, the fact that the auction house will not accept credit cards and then insists on waiting 10 days for checks to clear is frustrating. It turns what could be an immediate transaction into weeks. They would save lots of time as well by joining the modern age.

After 3 weeks: where is my item???? I am waiting for shipping (cost) etc. etc. Best regards, Ed

I saw my check had cleared and no response from them, so after 10 days I called and got a response a day later that they would take it to the shipper.. Not good service... Jim

The auction house is very fortunate to have an excellent UPS store nearby. Knowing what I buy will be safely shipped gives me confidence to buy online from Schmidt's.

The recommended shipper for Schmidt's is a UPS store that charges absolutely ridiculous shipping prices. The original quote was for $12x. xx but when I objected to the high shipping the shipper dropped the price to approx. half@ $62.21. I understand the the UPS store needs to make a profit but this is nothing short of gouging the customer.

I had many questions, which were all answered. Also, I made the pick-up in person, and they packed everything carefully into my vehicle for a long trip. It was a great buying experience!

Never worked with them before, but I found Chuck Schmidt very open and above board and easy to communicate with. Although not a watch expert, he answered my questions very accurately. Would recommend them highly based on this experience.
