Description of item was nor accurate. It was in awful condition. Shipping was outrageous.

Not being able to rescind your bid before it goes up for auction was very frustrating. It would have been helpful to know I could lower my bid even if I could rescind it. The auction house thought the bid could be rescinded before the item went up.

The Austin staff was helpful & friendly but the remote shipping process is a hassle. I did not have a bad shipping experience this time. (But I do worry about this since I paid several hundred dollars for an auction item in South Africa last year and never received the item. Also never received answers or responses to emails or phone calls.) That experience has left me quite hesitant to buy any higher dollar items, even in the USA. The steep 'buyer's premium' should entitle the buyer to a smoother shipping process.

I will never buy from this auction house again.

More compete and detailed descriptions on the auction items. Most of the time they very general. I have been disappointed on more than one occasion such as fishing lures being sold as vintage and over half of them ended up being plastic etc.

The payment options were so easy and convenient.

More detailed information on items-including condition and descriptions. They need to take much better photos to highlight potential issues with the items that they auction. Besides that the folks at Austin Auction are extremely helpful with loading and payment. Just wish they would take a little more time on the items information.

It would be great if you guys would accept PayPal. Also, some houses offer in house shipping on small lots like jewelry...

Please provide actual pictures of the items you have for sale. The white background and lighting make the items appear to be perfect, no flaws. We have learned to ask for pictures of the items we are interested in. The pictures that are provided to us when we ask, look nothing like the pictures posted on the auction site. Please post the pictures using the same lighting, background as the pictures you provide to us when we ask. Thank you

I buy from live auctioneer auction houses all over the Country and this one is the best!

House missed a major crack on one jug. However, the rest of the glass more than covered the cost.

BOOKS THAT WERE PURCHASED WERE NOT IN THE UNBLEMISHED CONDITION THAT THEY DESCRIBED AND I FEEL THE UPS THEY REFERRED ME TO TRULY OVERCHARGED FOR THE BOOKS SHIPPING.

They are excellent-in fact I have driven to their facility and they treated me fantastically-in fact, my last purchase provided me with some shipping difficulty and they contacted the shipper to help me!
