My negative comments refer to Austin Auctions. They misrepresented item and would accept return item at my expense. I will not deal with them again, and will probably avoid online auctions. Jim

Not sure how to watch and bid.

If the photos would have been better then i would have been able to bid accordingly!! Just tired of looking at the photos and description on the site and then actually receiving the item just to see damage or wear that was not described or had a photo of in the listing!! That's all. But boy oh boy watch the excuses fly if they are questioned about it!! just tired of it. You won't ever know what its like though until it actually happens to you personally.

I still haven't received my gun. Partially my fault and now I think we are drifting into the area of the dealer being slow.

I went to pay at the auction house and had to wait for an extra day to pay for the second item that i purchased through the site. this was not the auction company that held me up but rather the auction site not sending the bill to the auction company. other than this, i was very pleased. I have used the site before and when i bid my bid was not submitted when i bid on some drapes a few months ago i was very displeased. the auction house either ignored my bid or the site did not submit it timely. The auction house was in New York.

I wouldn't shop here EVER again. The owner was a complete jerk. We were going to arrive 20 minutes after they schedule to close at 3:00pm on a Friday. It was completely our mistake and thought they were open until 5:00 and I admitted our error. We were traveling from a state away to pick up our items. We spent over $8000.00 with them and he couldn't have been less helpful. I know that this situation has had to have happend to them before and I offered up 2 solutions and he told me "absolutely not" on both. I wouldn't shop with them ever again. Absolutely horrible customer service.

We picked up item directly from Austin Auction House-was not shipped.

I prefer in house shipping, but Postal Annex worked very well and competing quotations for shipping came in promptly. The price range was huge.

They are one of the top five auction houses on LA. We have spent well over $35k from them, both on and off LA. Recently-due to LA's lack of customer service over a dispute, we have been purchasing directly from auction houses. I highly suggest LA get someone stellar to run community if you want to create a worthy marketplace. Think Michael Wilson at ebay-both pre and post IPO.

This is one of the best auction houses in the Texas area. We are fortunate that we are able to drive there if there is a particular piece that we are interested in. However, quite often the information and pictures shown on the website do not reflect the actual condition of the piece. So if any criticisms it would be to fully disclose any and all condition of the item being sold. This comment would apply to ALL antique auction house websites not just the Austin Auction Gallery.

I would definitely purchase from them again. They appeared to have a great team.

The in house shipping was very expensive I had to call twice to have them get me a shipping quote.
