A good black leather liner on the inside (scuffed, small cracks in places) and red fabric lining. Signs of age and wear. Extremely rare helmet, modelled on Prussian/Russian helmets.Established in 1813, the Herzoglich Oldenburgische Dragonerkorps performed military and police duties. The Corps numbered just 62 men. Until 1815, it was spread over numerous small locations. However, in 1815, the entire Corps was transferred to Cloppenburg.
