Serigrafia a colori facente parte del portfolio "Brr...Brrr...! The British Winter ’s Grenadiers", tirato a 100 esemplari numerati in cifra araba (nostro esemplare n. 60/100) edito dall ’editore L ’Elefante di Venezia nel 1967. Durante la stampa di questo portfolio la casa editrice subì un allegamento dovuto all ’acqua alta, a causa di questo sopravvissero pochissime serigrafie. Con quest ’opera Pratt sperimenta per la prima volta le sue celebri scomposizioni, in questo caso sono le Giubbe Rosse canadesi ad essere il soggetto della sua ricerca che parte dall’esplorare alcuni dettagli ampiamente riconoscibili per approdare a grafiche minimaliste e totalmente astratte ispirandosi a Mondrian e Lichtenstein. Tracce di umidità al fronte e al retro. Firmata a matita da Pratt e numerata.

The British Winter ’s Grenadiers", limited to 100 copies numbered in Arabic numeral (our copy no. 60/100) published by the publisher L ’Elefante di Venezia in 1967. During the printing of this portfolio the publishing house suffered flooding due to high water, due to this very few silk-screen prints survived. With this work Pratt experiments for the first time with his famous decompositions, in this case the Canadian Redcoats are the subject of his research which starts from exploring some widely recognizable details to arrive at minimalist and totally abstract graphics inspired by Mondrian and Lichtenstein. Traces of humidity on the front and back. Signed in pencil by Pratt and numbered.
