Description
A 1950s German archtop guitar of unknown make, no serial number, sunburst finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist. One of many such guitars in his collection.
Unknown make, but does appear to have some Hopf and Glassl influence. Art Deco headstock design, 21-fret bound rosewood fretboard, carved spruce top with dark burst finish and thick multi-ply binding. Catseye sound holes, maple back and sides, harp tailpiece, adjustable ebony bridge.
