Description
A 1950s Hoyer Solist archtop guitar, no serial, natural finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist. One of many such archtop guitars in Randy’s collection.
Mother of pearl Solist and decorative semicircular inlays around the edge of the headstock, laminated string guide nut with zero fret. Maple neck with a bound 21-fret ebony fretboard, with bowtie inlays. Carved spruce top, rope-style binding with faux tortoise shell as the outermost layer, split sound holes, flame maple back and sides. Nickel harp tailpiece, adjustable rosewood bridge.
