Description
Edmond Chatigny (1895-1985) frequently "stacked" carved birds on top of one another. In this work, a moose creatively becomes a base for birds sitting on its back. Chatigny used a limited palette, but like this example, his works vibrate with colourful individuality.
Condition
Excellent condition. Paint retains strong colour. Complete and structurally sound.
