This classic silver dollar features a left-facing portrait of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat and cotton on the obverse, surrounded by the inscriptions E PLURIBUS UNUM and the date 1879. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings clutching arrows and an olive branch, framed by a laurel wreath, with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper, containing 0.7734 troy ounces of fine silver.
