**Walther P.38 Pistol marked byf 44

World War II

9mm Para. 3.9" barrel length. SN: 3323z. Blued metal finish with brown Bakelite grips mounting standard front blade and rear notch sights. Short recoil operated DA/SA autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Left slide struck with byf/44 manufacturer code, indicating it was made by Mauser Werke in 1944. Further markings include {Eagle/WaA135} waffenamt marks to left barrel, right locking lug, left frame, and to the right slide in two places. Further displays {WWII German Eagle} view marks to right slide, left barrel, and left locking lug. Magazine with jvd manufacturer code for ENM. {C&R}

Condition
Good. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish exhibits some nicks to the edges of the frame, some patinated flecking to the lower barrel, and brown patina forming on the forward gripstrap and upper rear frame. Grips with some light handling scratches.
