**DWM Artillery Luger Pistol with Matching Shoulder Board/Holster
World War I
9mm Para. 7.9" barrel length. SN: 1464a. Blued metal finish with nitre blued and straw colored small parts mounting checkered walnut two-piece grips. Short recoil operated striker action toggle locked autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Item shows a commercial {Crown/N} mark to left barrel extension with date mark ground off of barrel extension. Item shows the Imperial German {Reichsadler} mark on the barrel and breechblock, with further scattered Gothic letter inspection marks. Lack of such marks on barrel extension suggests this part may have been replaced, or had them removed. Serial numbers mixed with nonfluted nonmatching firing pin. Item comes with a WWII vintage aluminum base plug magazine. Combination shoulder-board and holster struck with a worn down {Crown/Gothic S}, and the socket serial number mark reading 1464a, matching the pistol.
