
Description
(1902 - 1952) Nazi politician, Gauleiter of Danzig-West Prussia. A ruthless and notorious anti-Semite, he established about 70 camps in Pomerania where Poles were subjected to murder, torture and in the case of women and girls, rape before execution. In all, he killed upwards of 60,000. Executed. Good content typed D.S. in pencil on N.S.D.A.P. letterhead, 1p. 4to., Danzig, Dec. 13, 1933 to the Reichs leadership in Munich. Forster asks that he be issued the "Honor Badge" as he holds party membership number 1924 and has been a continuous member since 1925. He also asks for a red membership card for another party. Docketed, file holes in margin, else very good. A docket at bottom indicated the badge was issued.
