Good pair of lots, includes a July 4, 1986 first day 'Liberty' postal cover signed by 22 raiders including JIMMY DOOLITTLE, also honorary 'Raider' TOM LIEU', all of whom have signed the face of the cover. SOLD WITH: Doolittle's autobiography: 'I Could Never Be So Lucky Again' (New York: Bantam Books), 1991. 574pp. 8vo. in partial blue cloth with fine dust wrapper. A large bookplate bearing Doolittle's photo and original signature has been applied to the front pastedown. Fine condition.
