Description

A limited edition poster, 24 x 18 in., created for an exhibit commemorating the 60th anniversary of the raising of the U.S. flag on the summit of Mt. Suribachi during the battle of Iwo Jima. Organized by the National Museum of the Pacific War, Fredericksburg, TX., and on display from Feb. 19-20, 2005. Signed in gold pen by four veterans: GLENN G. MORGAN, L. D. COX, JACK F. LUCAS and HERSCHEL W. WILLIAMS. Limitation number 102/150 appears at lower right. The poster is neatly mounted by tabs to a 30 x 20 in. sheet of foamcore which has been professionally shrink wrapped. Fine condition.
