S.P. 8 x 10 in. b/w, an image of Williams and his fellow Marines atop Mount Suribachi raising the American flag. Boldly signed in gold ink across image, adding ‘Medal of Honor’. Beckett authentication sticker appears at lower right. Fine. WITH: a printed image of Williams in uniform, 8.5 x 11 in., boldly signed. Together with: CHARLES W. LINDBERG (1920 - 2007) U.S. Marine who was part of the combat patrol that climbed Mount Suribachi and raised the first of two U.S. flags on the summit during the battle of Iwo Jima. S.P. 8 x 10 in. b/w, shows Lindberg and the other Marines readying the pole to raise the flag. Fine. Three pieces.
