Also included are: a FDC postmarked October 31, 1944, signed by CHARLES B. MCVAY III, captain of the INDIANAPOLIS at the time of her sinking a 7.5 x 6 in. b/w photo reprint of members of the INDIANAPOLIS crew signed by ROBERT ADRIAN MARKS, the Navy pilot who rescued 56 survivors; a 4 x 6 in. photo reprint of a family portrait signed by ROBERT GAUSE; and a 7 x 5 in. b/w reprint of a vintage image signed by MOCHITURA HASHIMOTO, the captain of the submarine that sank the INDIANAPOLIS.
