Philippines, Visayan Samar Talibong sword with fine carved wood handle and twisted hemp cord. Rattan braided wrapping to base of grip. Very thick single edge "Garab" blade with excellent signs of age. Beveled to left side of the blade. Probably Philippines insurrection period. Overall length 22" , 5/8" Thick spine.Philippines, Visayan Samar Talibong sword with fine carved wood handle and twisted hemp cord. Rattan braided wrapping to base of grip.
