45-70 caliber, 22" barrel with large VP and eagle barrel proofs, S/N 76520. Early lockplate with 1873 date. Early 73 carbine rear barrel sight. Stacking swivel, cleaning rod in the buttstock. Early key hole buttplate. Walnut stock with sharp and crisp original ESA/1877 cartouche, circle "P" firing proof behind the triggerguard. **The barrel and receiver with nice even look blue to gray. The lock and hammer with some blue finish. The stock with two excellent cartouches. Some nicks and dings. The bore is excellent.
