Africa, Cameroon, Grassfields region, probably Bali peoples, mid-to-late 20th century. Large elephant mask carved in wood and sheathed in thin copper panels secured with copper pins, with incised and repouss? geometric decoration. The mask features an elongated trunk, curved tusk-like forms, broad ears, and a woven natural-fiber collar at the neck.
