A LATE FRENCH BELLE ÉPOQUE CAMPAN GRAND MELANGE, BRECCIA PERNICE MARBLE AND ALABASTER BRASS MOUNTED PEDESTAL, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the highly figured rouge and vert square top, over a stylized, twisted Corinthian style brass capital, over a tapered red-orange and white figured column, to a twisted, petal form brass socle, raised on a white alabaster square plinth base. Height: 44 3/4" Width: 10" Depth: 10 1/4"
The top and base have been added later, some white residue at joined areas. Rubbing and loss to polish on top. Some patina, and some minor losses throughout, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
