75 MM Trench Art Mortar Shell Lamp

The mortar shell is glued to a wood stand. Has 2 large roses on it that are done very well. The projectile is turned into a stand for 3 light bulb fixtures.

Commemorates The Battle of St. Mihiel. Has 2 Poppy flowers on in for the flowers in Flanders Fields. Has the name Ed W. Sharp engraved around the bottom. The bottom of the shell reads 75DEC PD.PS.1158

Very neat style and design, just a great piece of art. I doubt there is another one like it. Every time you look at it you find another hidden character. The bottom of the shell reads Remington U M C

A very interesting example. I believe it was made before the U.S. Involvement in the war. The date on it says 1914 - a- 191 . Meaning the war was not over when it was made. Stands 13 3/4 inches tall.
