I purchased a huge drafting table and a sturdy solid oak set of shelves. These were the last two pieces I needed to set-up my painting studio. Both were extremely well built and heavy. George and his employee put the book shelf in my car, and I made arrangement via the auction gallery to have my drafting table delivered. I was pleased with the process and I will buy again when I need to.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but the rare item became mine. I knew not to be surprised by the packing and shipping price because of my location, but everything proceeded expertly and the rare water color is now hanging in my home. The auction was orderly and my winning price agreeable.

These guys are the best of the best consummate professionals. Never ever disappointed with anything I’ve ever bought from there. We are about 2 1/2 hours away from them and they accommodate our pick up every time. They are the easiest to work with and their products are quality. They have always been readily available to answer any questions. everything we’ve ever bought from there has been very well described and meticulously photographed. We really look forward to going out there for our pick ups, their entire staff is just the best! If you’re looking to do business with an auction house that knows their stuff and is extremely customer service oriented look no further than George Cole and his staff.

I was greatly disappointed. The item is not usable. I purchased a chrome etagere. It is rusted beyond hope and someone used sandpaper to try and clean up. So the etagere is completely ruined and cannot be salvaged at all. Used sandpaper to make the photo look good but they destroyed the piece.

They have a good selection of items offered, well displayed in ads. It seems that when one arrives to pick up their purchases, its a cold experience. Never a thank you. Never a "welcome and how can we help you". We and others sense ego and self-importance on their part which could so easily be altered. This place needs a "woman's touch" to the business-social interactions.

G. Cole auctions has previews that you can look at the items and he seems very honest with the photos and descriptions if there are defects or not, any online auction I believe at looking at the items even at low bids. George seems to be honest and I will bid at his auction again.
