A "processing fee" was added to the total charge, even though the listing had made no mention of it. It took several exchanges of communication, but they did finally remove that small extra charge. Otherwise the item was as advertised and satisfactory.

I won an item in May. After agreed on payment method and I have successfully paid, DuMouchelles refunded without proper explain and go for underbidder without my acceptance. Very unprofessional.

On their invoice, DuMouchelles lists suggested companies to pick up and ship your purchase. We used their first vendor who took care of everything via email. We had our purchase in a week. Quick and easy!

Very strange incident. I had a max bid on through LiveAuctioneers. Mid-auction, I received an email stating that I had been outbid by another bidder-along with a solicitation to raise my bid. I let it go as I wasn’t that interested in the item. Then, amazingly, I won the item. What happened to the higher bid? When I called the auction house I got a flimsy answer about new staff working the online order book during the auction. I can’t prove it, but my suspicion it this was a ruse to get me to raise my limit so they could bid me up. I’m a stock trader-seen this game before. Anyway, I honored my bid and took the item despite poor execution by the auctioneer. I buy at a lot of auctions-probably won’t keep this house on my list.

i live in alaska and to send to me it is a lot better with the post office. always cheaper and seems to take the same time. i finally got the shipping company to use priority mail. still a little bit high from other similar products that i have bought and received.

Beware of shipping fees, I won a small table and all shippers prices that DuMouchelles gave me were outrageous. Table cost 40.00 cheapest shipper fee was 350.00 or more to send it to my home. If you do not get it shipped in a certain time you will be charged storage fees daily. I will take a loss for the table and let the DeMouchelles keep it. William

They sold a fake Wedgwood piece with very ambiguous wording that in no way indicated the item was fake. They used the words "After and named the artist" but in the world of Wedgwood, every genuine piece is "after" another artists and yet still genuine Wedgwood. Rare Wedgwood pieces were always "after" another artist. Their opening bid definitely did not indicate that it is actually a cheap, recently made reproduction with fake marks. I used to consider this a safe place to buy but now I see they sell fakes and don't stand behind their claims. Be very careful. They can't be trusted.
