RFDA is the epitome of a fair and meticulous auctioneer, easily accessible for previews and questions, with procedures to quickly, but fairly, process bids. The auction site is large enough to allow persoanl viewing of all items to be sold, with easy payment processing and industry-best in-house economical shipping. The shipping cost felt slightly painful (30 % of the hammer price) but on arrival it felt pretty good value-the three prints were thoroughly wrapped and arrived in perfect condition.

I collect etchings and the most difficult problem when bidding on a print is judging quality and condition. Her overall photographs and detail shots of the lot made the decision process easy. They quickly responded to my questions, were courteous on the phone and they did an expert job on packing the lot. The shipping cost was also very reasonable. Davis Fine Arts did a great job. UPS delivered the double boxed painting with a seven inch slash completely through the boxes and the beautiful painting. I did insure the painting but what a mess.
