Everything worked out well, and I especially appreciated the write up on the items and the images posted on line prior to the auction. The shipping was ridiculously expensive, for what was involved, but I understand that this is an outside contracted shipping service.... and John was very pleasant to deal with. Thank you

She should be used as an example to your other vendors her art is curated and mostly as represented. I value her somewhat esoteric taste and learn much from the art she managed to present. She should be an example for the vast majority of your largely uncurated (and unprincipled) auction houses. Her in house and very affordable packaging/shipping is especially welcome My thanks to her and please pass this on. Keith

Excellent experience overall. Only downside was having to call to give payment information. Given this day and age, should be able to pay via a website 100 % of the time.

I submitted all of my bids prior to the live part of the auction. I did this because the terms stated that in the event of a tie bid, the earliest (first) bidder would win the item. THE AUCTION DID NOT HONOR THEIR STATED TERMS and I (the earliest bidder) did not win the item. They should not state a term they do not stand behind. Otherwise, I was pleased with the other items that I won.

I think the ability to pay on line is necessary in today's world. they require that you call and give them information over the phone.

They have great in-house reasonable shipping, which is why I will buy from them again. Most sellers on Live Auctioneers have overpriced outside shipping which keeps me from bidding or buying from them.

this feedback is for you... i have an app for live auctioneers but it doesn't allow me to use all of the features of it, eg tagging searches for notification... that seems to be a different site... can you fix that?

Some auction houses list their items multiple times which makes searching very hard to do. Auctions online is a big problem in this regard. Antiques Auction plus also does this annoying thing where they list the same auction item in two different auctions days apart from each other. Again, this makes searching frustrating. Lastly, there are auction houses like Auction by Terry that clog up searches by just listing their entire inventory and it's mostly just pages from old art books. Nothing wrong with auctioning them off-it's just that as a user and buyer, it means there are literally hundreds of similar and identical items that you need to scroll through before you find what you are looking for.

Yes please make sure all Auction houses have paypal and have a wider choice of firms that will be able to send the items oversea

Live Auctioneers (or Abell's) missed several of my bids during Abell's auctions. I bid early while the item was still being sold but my bids never registered and it sold to someone else at a much lower price than I was willing to pay. This has happened to me on several occasions and has forced me to leave absentee bids rather than try to bid live.

Their ability to pack and ship my item was much appreciated. You should encourage more galleries to do this.
