The auction house provided good information very quickly. My one issue is that the 3 shippers they recommend are very expensive. I wrote to Case complaining on this and they responded immediately and they were helpful. The shipping is out of their hands unfortunately and the high cost is an issue and will have to be factored in with my future bidding. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier with Case.

Excellent description, excellent communications, excellent wrapping of purchases (sterling silver dinnerware) and excellent coordination of shipping.

I had some issues with the descriptions of the items I purchased, but they were very responsive and helpful.

Pre pandemic, we enjoyed attending in person. Now we join the auction online and continue to bid on exciting collectibles.

While the items we won were located in Knoxville, Case arranged for the items to be transported to Nashville so we could pick them up. They did this uncomplainingly and were extremely patient and kind to us.

Auction moves quickly (as it should)-so tune in to get the "beat" before. My one issue is the schedule-with an event taking 2 days it was not clear when the lot (s) I was interested in would come up.... even the morning it started my Q on when # 602 could be expected was not addressed... I had to guess a window of@ 2 hours late afternoon.... and was never certain when it would come up. Better co-ordination of this would be helpful (Next time I may not have a day to waste and any bid I may have left would just be frustratingly unhelpful to all..... SEEMS NO WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH HOUSE DURING SALE...!

I was very satisfied with my experience with Case Antiques Their auction descriptions and pictures are excellent, their in house packing is convenient and carefully done and email communication and interaction is very efficient. Very good sellers, very good experience.

After receiving a seriously damaged piece, and not being satisfied with the pictures or condition descriptions of two other pieces once I received them, I originally posted a one-star review of Case Auctions describing my concerns and problems. I received a call from Case Auctions immediately, who wanted to make the situation right and to understand what happened to my items. I was able to get a refund through the shipper for the damaged piece-which was damaged in shipment through no fault of the packing job, just the frailty of the 140 year old item, and I told John Case that I would change my review to fit what their response had been. He asked me to change my review. Then COVID hit, and changing my review fell off my radar for a bit. In the meantime, LiveAuctioneers removed my one-star review immediately when I asked LA to change my review of Case, so it was no longer online. I felt good that at least that had been done, and I checked out the latest Case Auction. I noticed that the descriptions were much more detailed and included flaws to items, which was one of my complaints to John Case about the condition of the items I had purchased. Kudos to Case Auctions for taking notice of that

Plenty of good photographs and insightful descriptions make this a high-value experience for on internet bidder. Over the years, this has been one of my most pleasant business experiences.

Accurate listings, quite professional. The auctioneer does not ship, but leaves it to purchasers to arrange for shipping with one of their recommended shippers.

Vendor farms out shipping to a third party. They had three recommended vendors. I was able to connect with two of them. Because of the hassle to find a shipper out of network I went with the cheaper of the two. I received the item without problem but communication was poor. I was not notified when the item was picked up from the vendor or when it was shipped. The premium charged above shipping list price was cringe worthy. These people have no conscience.

This is the first item that I have purchased through the auction. I had to call for help on payment and shipping. They were extremely helpful. Everything went just like they said and my item arrived in excellent condition.

I have never been disappointed in anything I have bought from one of their auctions-and I have been consigning with them and purchasing from them for the past 7 or 8 years. The entire staff is professional and payment processing and shipping arrangements are smooth and efficient.
