Very nice and organized auctions. Easy to follow. Fast communication with the online auctions. Always have received items better than I thought they would be. Do not hesitate signing up for their auctions!

14 pounds, 16x16 box, 9 small glass items. Cost to ship, $188.00, are you kidding me. Lesson learned!! Not a good experience with strawser auctions either. Needless to say will not burden them again!!!

Too many steps needed to complete transaction. Pay for item chose shipper contact auction house, contact shipper, let auction which know which shipper to use., etc, etc. Pay for shipping same time pay auction house-done... … … ….

To my knowledge, the description of the item said that this was a working clock. The mainspring is broken and the clock does not work.

I really should have known better. I have had such good success with various auction houses onliveauctioneers.com that I placed a little to much trust where I should have asked more questions from the auction house. My fault in the end as a buyer. My overall feedback rates my personal experience as a buyer for resell as it relates to the two lots I purchased. I did not contact the auction house because the amount of money is not significant enough to deal with the hassle of a attempted return when the typical auction house sells items as-is where-is, no return. I do not know the policy of the auction house in question. I purchased 2 pocket watches. Two different lots. Each had one photograph. Each had limited information. Neither worked. One is damaged. 1st one-Listing details: Title: American Waltham open face; Description: pocketwatch, P. S. Bartlett, 17j Buyer's Premium 18 % (Turns out to be non-working, case in fair condition with plating loss, looks to have a bad mainspring or broken pinion, but a guess as I have not taken it apart as of yet) 2nd one-Listing Details: American Waltham open face; Description: pocketwatch Buyer's Premium 18 % (Turns out, the top is jammed and gummed up so you can't flip the works out to wind it to know if it works or not, model details, who made the case etc. case is in fair condition overall given the issues.) Payment process was very simple which is a plus as a buyer. Shipping was pretty prompt after payment, also a plus as buyer. While the Auction house is responsible for the quality of the listing. The bidding on a one photo, next to no details auction is solely my responsibility. Future buyers, your experience may be different. My recommendation is ask questions before you buy. Ask for additional photographs. If not noted in the title or description, ask whether any piece (s) are damaged or in working order, etc. otherwise assume by default what you are bidding on is damaged or non-working.

Don’t buy and have it shipped. The cost of shipping is outrageous and totally not worth what you are trying to win. Once you win and get your shipping quote you will feel like a big LOSER!

The pictures and descriptions did not disclose that many pieces in the lots were chipped and/or cracked. 30 % of the lots were unsellable

Very, very nice when I talked with Jenny at the auction. She went well beyond what was expected. It was the shippers that messed up.

Didn ‚ Ä ô t really care much for having to have someone come an hour and a half to get the dishes and wait for them to contact me about how much it will be to ship. Lord only knows what they will charge. Still waiting.

Will Buy From Again

I did not receive all my purchase from the shipping company. I have paid $180 + shipping and I don ‚ Ä ô t have the item I purchased. The shipping company does not seem to understand it ‚ Ä ô s his responsibility. This will probably be my last auction purchase.

I rated the shipping a 4 because it was extremely overpriced. They put items in 2 boxes when they easily could have fit in one and charged a ridiculous amount of money for packing. I purchase several things a week and have them shipped to me. These charges were 3-4x what is typically charged.

I was ok with the auction, it was after the auction that bothered me. As much as the buyers premium was PLUS the shipping, it would have been cheaper to drive there, and that's a two day trip there. The buyers premium is way out of line as well as the shipping charges. And to add to that, it took 1 1/2 weeks after the auction for our treasures to arrive. We won't be bidding online anymore.

They did not properly disclose the condition of the items I purchased nor the model of plate. Keith
