I received an invoice after the auction saying to wait for another invoice which would include the shipping costs. This was received Sept 29, 2020. It is now Oct 16, th and I have never heard another word from them. I have a business to run just like they do and don't have time to chase them to send me information that they themselves told me to wait for. By now they should have noticed that this invoice has not been paid because they have not sent me one with shipping included. Did they loose the item, sell to a back bidder, or does it actually take this long to process a billing that includes shipping? If anybody is thinking of consigning with this auction house I would think twice as they don't seem very interested in getting your money from the bidders to send on to you. If you are thinking of bidding then you may never get your items.

I have known Richard for almost 40 years, in all that time he has been very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I always look forward to his auctions. His entire organization is a pleasure to work with. Five Stars all the way. Thanks again.

Richard Hatch is the most convenient of auction houses, whether buying or selling. The inhouse shipping is fast and comfortable with insurance and secure packing.

As usual in antiques, condition rules. Failure to note chips on glass is a big deal for bidders. I think most bidders would benefit from a more detailed description or more pictures so they could better evaluate the condition of the item they are bidding on.

I have been going to Richard's auctions for years. He and his staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I cherish the items I have bought through the auction house. Highly recommend this to anyone who has been hesitant about going to a live auction. The information he gives on items brings you very close to the history of the objects. Richard's consignors have been congress members, state senators, well known celebrities, etc. He provides as much information about all items that he can. My friend and I are always eager to attend the next auction, treasures galore.

Our auction purchase of fine china arrived on time, and was packed with great care. Items appear to be brand new, and there was no breakage whatsoever. This auction house did such a great job of packing our china, the box could have been dropped from an airplane without any mishap.

A five star rating although I have not opened the package to insure there is no damage even though they followed up (via telephone call) to ascertain the shipment arrived in good order, a first for any of the dozens of houses from who I have hundred of shipments, almost all of which the auction entity assumed absolutely no responsibility to assist in pack and ship and never to offer assistance where there was a problem. Good people.

Often when auction houses offer shipping as well, it can take forever to receive your item/s. Hatch got my winning lot to me within the week!
