Poor.... website crashed... I was winning bid but sold to someone else without contacting me

Received the piece of glass I purchased and there was undisclosed damage. Nothing you can really do about it. Auctioneers won’t stand behind their descriptions. They just say it’s up to the buyer to know the condition. How are we supposed to know the items condition when we’re not physically there. Online buyers have to depend on the auction house to know what they are doing. Buyers are between a rock and a hard place. No guarantees in this online marketplace. Makes it hard to do business.

Not only were the items I purchased in perfect condition, the shipping was expertly done. I've never seen such well-packed items. Thank you, Richard D. Hatch & Associates, for the incredible service. I look forward to purchasing from you again soon:)

I’ve known Richard for several years as we both served as appraisers in an event that allows people to find out what they have. Richard is quite knowing in his profession. He is well connected in merchandise and clientele. I will continue to look for treasures.

Everything was done very professionally and timely manner, items were packed well and undamaged. Only no-no, several auction Lot # tags were adhered to lucite which was very time consuming to remove without causing damage. My item cost was $800, this could be a real problem on an expensive item. They have to tag the items, but maybe removable or less tags would be better. Regardless, with what's going on in the world, this company does a great Job Stay sane, John

Richard Hatch runs probably my favorite auctions now. I go to a fair number of auctions or did before Covid. Richards auctions are well run. His online auctions are excellent. His items are described well enough that in some instances I would bid without physically being able to preview the item. His items are usually top quality. I really like that he post multiple pictures. Also he post sold prices afterward which is a great reference for later history and research for future similar items. Often his jewelry is of such quality that it will come with an appraisal.
